The Dead Century is an independent, Minneapolis-based rock/ indie rock band.

​

Formed in early 2017 by brothers Nick and JP Check and local musicians Robert Muehlbauer and Austin Peterson, The Dead Century has showcased its lyrically engaging, guitar-driven brand of rock music in venues across the midwest, especially in their native Twin Cities, where they've built a strong following. Their work pulls from a wide range of musical influences, making the band comfortable both penning narrative-driven ballads and playing them with punk rock enthusiasm.
